Yes, there is homework. There will be some worksheets and, of course, a considerable amount of writing once we start our novels. Students will set your own daily and weekly goals for their writing with the goal of completing your first draft in 30 days (yes, you really can produce your first draft in 30 days--editing comes later!). The initial work will be rough, but that is why is edit!
National Novel Writing Month's Young Novelist Workbook.
We will keeping track of progress on each students novel with feedback being provided along the way. No letter grade is given, but Home Schoolers should contact me if special considerations are needed.
