In this one day class, students will learn to enhance their creativity with a short writing prompt! We will learn proper story structure and write a story in class.
Class experience
In this class, we will write a story based on the story structure of the hero's journey. What to expect in class: 5 minute introductions 10-15 minute lesson on story structure, literary devices, characters, and important elements of a story. 5 minutes of Brainstorming [based off of 3 prompts given to student - they may also choose to write a story of their own idea] 15- 20 minutes of writing time in class.
