Students will need to prepare up to five pages (or all of it) of their book, put into a google doc, and place in the padlet 48 hours before class starts to receive feedback that week. If the novel or screenplay is complete, I recommend posting the entire manuscript and you can proof the next five pages before class with anything you have learned. Students will read and give feedback to their classmates in those 48 hours before class starts. They need to be prepared to explain their feedback in class.
1 file available upon enrollmentStudents will need to have a Google and Padlet account. Students will use Padlet to post their links to their Google Docs for their classmates to suggest and comment on their pages. Students may use their google account provided by a school district, but some districts don't allow sharing of docs outside the district. If this is the case, the student will need to make a google account for this class (or use a guardians). Students can use their google account to log in to Padlet.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
If a student is working on a book that contains mature or sensitive topics, we will be talking about them in class.
Students will use Google Doc and Padlet to post their work for students to give feedback to them.
