Class Experience
Creative writing is an imaginative, fun and exciting class! In this 8-week creative writing workshop, 6th-8th grade students will create a variety of creative writings during the entire course including: Week 1 - journaling Week 2 - writing from art Week 3 - poetry Week 4 - another end to a story Week 5 - personal narrative Week 6 - letter writing Week 7 - collaborative story Week 8 - short story (3-5 paragraphs) No prior writing experience is required, but basic writing experience and...
Students will have one writing assignment for homework each week.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
