This ongoing, weekly poetry class allows students to write original poems and share them with fellow learners. We also read and discuss contemporary English-language poetry.
Class experience
Students in this class will read poems and use them as inspiration for their own writing. We will learn a new creative writing term in each class and theme the reading and writing warm-ups around the term. My favorite terms include rhythm, imagery, and couplets. Some classes, we focus on a particular form of poetry, such as the Sonnet.
