Creative Writing: Short Stories
This is a 8 week course design to help the student write an original short story, roughly 4 to 10 pages.

Meets multiple times at scheduled times
Live video chats, recorded and monitored for safety and quality

Description
Class Experience
To inspire students to develop original pieces /ideas and learn about the human condition through characterization. To create a short story between 4 and 10 pages long. If the student chooses: To help them understand the process of publishing and submission to literary journal.
I am a published author myself and used to work as a editor for the college literary journal.
Each student will work on their story during the week in between classes, No specific amount of time will be required.
Lined Paper Pencil / Pen Student Workbook (PDF Provided) Access to Google Docs or Microsoft Word (any version) Printer (optional)
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
I will give the student feedback about their writing, including notes on grammar, spelling and structure. No formal grade will be given. (If using a Charter and you need a formal letter grade, please message me)
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
