😊The Who….. *I am the author of over 25 chapter books for children and a former teacher. I talk to students in school author visits about my writing and the writing process and help to foster their own creativity. I have tutored many students who have written wonderful stories but needed help getting from point A to point B. 😊The What….. *Each session I will help foster creative thought and help to organize story development. I have story spark activities the students will use to...
Students will learn the main parts of a creative story and practice putting a creative idea together for a story of their own.
I am the published author of over 25 books for children and have sold over 40000 copies on Amazon since 2012. Book series include BE THE VET, EVIE AND THE VOLUNTEERS, HAZEL: THE CLINIC CAT, NILES AND BRADFORD, CLARA AND TUNI, AND THIRD GRADE OUTSIDER. I give school talks to students about the writing process and encourage the following of one's passions and commitment to hard work despite setbacks. I hope to foster a love of learning and to help students to find joy in their writing. *Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with over 10 years of teaching experience *Master's Degree in Educational Administration
