Description
Class Experience
Creative writing can be exciting - it can allow our minds to wonder, our deepest thoughts to come out on paper and can create a sense of pride in writing we didn't know we could achieve. This class may support what students are doing in school, but more than that, it will challenge them to try new techniques and genres. It can support homeschool learning, or simply extend student interest in writing. They will learn skills such as using imagery, description, sentence variety, organization...
Students will develop creative writing skills through learning and trying a variety of genres.
I am a qualified English teacher, and have taught creative writing.
Please come with a pen/paper. I will screen share other resources (generally written by me) and will attach any PDF's you may need for the class.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
