Students will be able to practice their creative writing skills. Each week, students will be given a writing prompt. We will have a class discussion followed by student writing time. Students will have an opportunity to share their stories.

US Grade 4 - 7
In this course, students will practice their creative writing skills. Every week, they will receive a different writing prompt. Students will have some time to collectively brainstorm together about the topic. Then, each student will have 20-25 minutes of writing time. Students are encouraged to ask for assistance from the teacher. They can ask for help via private chat message or verbally in the class. Examples of story prompts may include: 1. Write about a time you felt really happy....
Students will improve their creative writing skills and gain confidence in their work.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
