Class Experience
This writing course is aimed at both reluctant and inspired writers. We will study the parts of a magazine and create a class magazine to be published on our website. Each student will contribute one story or article, and at least one supplementary item (crossword puzzle, illustration, etc.) In the process, students will improve their understanding of the six traits of writing: ideas, organization, voice, sentence fluency, word choice, and conventions. In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
