Description
Class Experience
Students will respond to writing prompts and present their thinking.
I have been teaching in public and private schools for 5 years with writing as a favorite subject to teach. I am certified K-5 in Tennessee and K-6 with an ESOL endorsement in Florida. I have also taught 2 years of an advanced writing class for 2nd grade students. In the last 10 years I have also directed a summer day camp for 100 kids ages 5-12, and tutored privately and for an after school program.
Journal, writing utensil(s), snack if desired.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
