Description
Class Experience
At the beginning of class, I will introduce a writing prompt for the students. The writing prompt will usually be a question for students to ponder about. An example prompt could be, "What would you do if you had a million dollars?". Students will then be given time to write about whatever comes to their mind regarding the prompt. After everyone is finished, students are encouraged to share their journal entry if they feel comfortable. I will give positive feedback as well as writing tips to...
Students will be able to expand their creativity and gain practice with writing skills.
I have worked in a public school district with students in creative writing practice.
Students should bring a sheet of paper and something to write with.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
I will use Google docs to screen share the writing prompt.
