Students will creatively write a fictional pet emergency story focusing on what symptoms or signs of distress the animal might exhibit and what care the veterinarian might provide.
I am the published author of over 25 books for children and have sold over 20000 copies on Amazon since 2012. Book series include BE THE VET, EVIE AND THE VOLUNTEERS, HAZEL: THE CLINIC CAT, NILES AND BRADFORD, CLARA AND TUNI, AND THIRD GRADE OUTSIDER. I have been a freelance writer for magazines, blogs, and newspapers. I give school talks to students about the writing process and encourage the following of one's passions and commitment to hard work despite setbacks.
