Description

Class Experience

In this ongoing course, students can come and write creatively about certain topics in Mandarin Chinese. Ms. Teyen will provide a topic and then guide the class on what to write. In this 30  minute class, students will be assisted in their writing and can help each other expand their vocabulary. At the end of the class, students will read their work out loud. Intermediate to advanced level students only. We will be writing in simplified and/or traditional characters.

Ms. Teyen has been a Mandarin Chinese teacher since 2014. She has taught students from age 3 to high school. She also studied abroad in Taiwan for a semester during her college junior year in a foreign language exchange program. There, she expanded her Mandarin vocabulary and taught English to university and high school students. Ms. Teyen also took AP Chinese in high school and got a 5 on her AP exam.
