Creative Writing: Identity, Diversity, Justice and Action
In this short course, students will be given prompts, will participate in discussions, and will write a reflection based on the topic of the day.

Description
Class Experience
Students will analyze photos, passages, etc, and write a creative response to the topic of the day. Students will demonstrate understanding by writing a creative reflection. Students will engage in discussions and synthesize works through writing.
Students will complete writing if not finished in class.
1 hour 40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Photos, passages, and other materials will be used that talk about bullying, slavery, rights/activism, bias, race, religion, civil rights, immigration, and more.
