In this 2-day class, we will go over what a query letter is, what goes into them, and they will write a query letter for a publisher and/or agent.

Students should have either a completed short story, novella, or novel that they want to submit, or the first couple of chapters and an outline. The purpose of this class is to write a query letter to an editor or agent to seek publication or representation. A query letter is a way to introduce yourself to an agent or an editor.
