Class experience
In this one time class, students will learn the fundamentals of plotting and outlining their first novel. They will spend class time learning the fundamentals of writing a novel, plotting that novel, outlining, and the steps to creating a full-length novel. This one-time class will not be to write that novel, that comes later. This class will give students the feel and idea of how to plot out their entire novel before they begin writing. Students will learn the general ideas of how to plot a novel from start to finish and how to create a detailed outline for their story.
A one-page handout will be provided to students with the details of how to plot a novel.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
