Class Experience

In this short workshop for young writers, I will be going over a bunch of tips and tricks as to how to begin, continue, and complete a story. Often, students have big ideas for a story, but are discouraged from writing because it's hard to decide where to start. This is a one-time class, so these tips can be revisited anytime. I will specifically be discussing how to begin, continue, and conclude a story by using a main character as the reference point. I encourage anyone who is passionate...

Students will learn how to build a compelling character and how to have that character interact in a fictional world in a story with a clear beginning, middle, and end.

As this is a one-time workshop, there is no homework.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Students are welcome to send their story to me for an assessment.

45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
