Description

Class Experience

During this class, students will practice creative writing, while making a fun keepsake ( time capsule). Time capsules are an excellent way for students to look back on their school year and record special memories, goals, and accomplishments. It is a wonderful way for students to practice self-awareness, as they record their likes and interests.

Students will practice their creative writing skills while fostering self-awareness and goal setting.

I have had the wonderful privilege of teaching/ tutoring students in the area of reading comprehension and ESL( Tefl). I have taught students of all ages, grade levels, and academic skill levels, both online and in regular classroom settings. I love the challenge of making reading fun, animated, engaging, and exciting, as it makes students want to learn. I truly have a passion for teaching and I love to see my students thrive in academics. What a wonderful privilege it is to be a part of your child's academic success and progress.

Additional Education Credentials:  I have two Master's degrees through Liberty University in the areas of Counseling/ Human Services and Education and an M.ed in Education.

Students will work on their Time Capsule components outside of class each week.

All project supplies will be supplied in the form of a printable with the exception of pencils, crayons, markers, and glue. Students will also need some form of a container to hold their writings/ drawings. This could be a Pringles container, soda bottle, shoebox, or paper towel roll ( more info on this once class starts).
