This course is designed for young writers to explore the art of creative writing and the innovative use of found footage techniques. Through engaging writing prompts, skill-building exercises, and an introduction to the found footage method used by some artists and writers, students will learn to craft compelling narratives, develop strong characters, and experiment with using existing material to create new stories. In addition, this course offers students the opportunity to explore the history of analog and early digital “home video” production.
