Class Experience
Join this workshop led by a professional author and editor, sharing hints and tips for creating moving and compelling stories in verse. We'll start the class by introducing free verse and writing some very short poems together. We'll look at stories told in free verse by other writers, and notice how each word is carefully chosen not only for its meaning, but also for its shape and sound. Using what we learn from this, we'll start to create some verse fiction of our own. How can you create...
Learners will be inspired to write engaging poetry and free verse.
I am a multi-published author of Young Adult fiction and an experienced teacher of creative writing.
Informal encouragement and verbal feedback will be given during the session.
