Class Experience
What goes through a kitten's mind as it plays with yarn? In this creative writing class, students get to select the point of view (first person from the kitten's perspective OR third person observer) to write from for their final KITTENS & YARN writing activity. Students will improve their descriptive writing skills. As well, this class fosters a love for writing.
I am a certified English and History teacher and have taught for 20 years, mostly in a high school classroom. I have taught creative writing for many years and have had some work published myself. Many of my students have had their creative pieces published and have won writing awards.
There is no homework for this class.
Learners will be provided with verbal feedback during the class.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
