This class is perfect for struggling and experienced writers alike! Each week, students will meet and have time to explore a new writing prompt. These prompts will be fun, interesting, simple, challenging, and everything in between. The goal is to spark creativity, develop a regular writing practice, and increase both confidence and enjoyment in writing. In addition to writing time, students will have time to socialize and share with their peers, self-edit their work, and receive writing guidance from the teacher. *This Writing Club is meant to help students practice their skills. Writing prompts and tasks are provided by the teacher. Learning Goals
Students will improve their writing in both mechanics (grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization) and content (idea formation, outlining, flow, development).
Students will develop a regular writing practice in order to further develop and sharpen their writing skills.
Students will gain confidence in their writing and increase social skills through sharing and discussion.

Supply List
All you need for my class is a computer/tablet to access it, and something to write with!
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
