Does your teen love creative writing? Are they trying to improve their writing skills or do you even just want to see a love for writing form in their lives? If so this is the perfect club for them. This is an ongoing class that will meet weekly for students to dive into creative writing, show and further develop their love of writing, and use their imagination. In each class, students will be presented with a unique creative writing prompt. Then they will have 15 minutes to write on those prompts and then we will share them as a group. This will not be a place for critique but to just write together and share our amazing creations with each other. Prompts will be split into categories that will coincide with different weeks of the month. For instance 1st week of the month: I give you a plot you write a story 2nd week of the month: Continue the Story 3rd week of the month: Picture prompt 4th week of the month: Finish the story prompt 5th week (if there is one): Freewriting write about whatever you want.
Learning Goals
Students will write some amazing creative imaginative stories and be able to share them with other students and receive praise for their work.

Hello, I’m Angela AKA The Truthful Tutor. I have been a tutor for the last 12 years.
I love my job and love working with all the students that I have come across. My passion in life is making sure that students have the tools that they need to succeed and learn everything they can.
Since being a tutor, I have learned many tips and tricks and want to make sure that those tools can get into the hands of students through tutoring, so they can tap into their potential.
The most important thing that I have learned is that success begins early. The earlier that students are given the tools they need to succeed the better that they will do.
I have lots of experience with students with a number of different abilities and neurodiverse students. I have experience with blind students, autistic students, students with ADHD, etc. If your student needs any accommodations to make this class more accessible for them please feel free to reach out and I will make these accommodations to the best of my ability.
