Many kids with autism or special needs have a story in their unique and fascinating mind. In this weekly, ongoing creative writing club, learners will meet to share their story ideas. Whether the student is working on a book, a short story, fan fiction, a comic, a video game scene, world building or character development, this will be a great space for them to share their writings and creative ideas. While making connections with new friends, learners will be able to receive constructive feedback and suggestions from their teacher and classmates to help enhance their story ideas and improve on further story development. Students will also be practicing social skills including listening. speaking, sharing and turn taking, while using their creative minds and making new friends in this fun writing club. This writing club is a small class size to allow students ample time to share their ideas and work on their story and characters throughout the class. Learning Needs
These sessions are designed to support the unique learning needs of students with special needs. All of the teachers have a special education background and will tailer the sessions to the language and social abilities of the students.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
