Week of March 2, 2025: Introductions to creative writing Homework: Free Writing Week of March 9, 2025 : Song Writing Homework: Write a verse Week of March 16, 2025: Songwriting workshop Homework: Revision Week of March 23, 2025: Intro to the short story Homework: Write a short story Week of March 30, 2025: Short Story workshop Homework: Revise Week of April 6, 2025: Intro to Poetry Homework: Write a poem Week of April 13, 2025: Poetry workshop Homework: Revise Week of April 20, 2025: Novel chapter workshop The homework is an essential part of the week's study. If you wish to receive the feedback then it is imperative to submit the homework.
Learning Goals
To develop creative thoughts, using their imaginations, suggesting alternatives, broaden their thought process and problem-solving abilities. It also allows the child to show their opinions and develop their voice. It also improves their logical skills.

Students may be asked to read outside of class a poem or short story of their choosing.
Students may be asked to bring or listen to a piece of music of their choosing. Students will not be able to share music in class if it has the parental guidance warning label on said music.
