Class Experience

Hello and welcome to this warm fuzzy space of writing! I created this class for learners at different stages in their writing journey, so everyone is welcome!
I wanted to create a safe and welcoming space in which each and every child can make their writing mark! Sometimes, it can feel as though there aren't enough safe places to allow learner's ideas to flourish. Thus, the purpose of this class is to allow the flow of ideas onto paper.

Here is the structure of the class:
~ The first half of the class includes some brainstorming and mini-writing exercises. This has proven to be stimulative in every sense. I also tend to share or discuss the form of the story whether it is centered around the plot, setting, and character.

~ The second half, the ball is in your learner's court. The young writers will commence their writing using the prompts. Prompts will usually include some guiding questions which they are free to use as needed.
Please note, feedback from not only their teacher but peers is an essential part of developing their writing.

~ EXTRAS- If there is time at the end of the class, we may head over to KAHOOT or BLOOKIT for some extra activities- Extra take-home sheets will be provided as well.
