Description
Class Experience
By the end of the camp, learners will be able to: - add sensory details to their writing in order to show vs. tell their reader. - use metaphors and imagery appropriately to their writing. - develop characters and conflict within their writing to engage their reader. - revise and edit their writing. - share (orally or in writing) a piece they wrote.
Most of the written work will be completed in class. Learners are able to continue writing their piece after each session as needed.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
2 hours 40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
