In this six-week course, students will hone their creative writing skills by discussing A Wrinkle in Time as a group and authoring creative writing samples through weekly prompts inspired by the book.
Class experience
US Grade 3 - 6
In this Book Club, students will read two chapters of A Wrinkle in Time every week. Each class will consist of a discussion of the two chapters read, and instructions for that week's writing prompt. Students will spend a few minutes at the end of every class starting to work on the writing prompt so that they are able to ask any immediate questions in person. Some of the chapters of the book are frightening. The book deals with topics of grief, loss, bullying, and anger.
