Class Experience

You will be introduced to 6 different styles of Creative Writing and be given a chance to practice writing pieces in each style. The goal here is to help you find a style of writing that fits you best! My goal is to help you find your creative voice

There are also many other skills a person learns when writing, such as confidence, self-expression, and bravery for sharing their work.
Each week you are encouraged to complete any writing project that you do not finish in class. By Week 7 of class you should have six creative writing pieces for your portfolio.
Students are asked only to bring pencil and paper or be able to write on their computer during class for 10-20 minutes.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Optional: If you would like written feedback you are encouraged to send your portfolio to me after Week 7! I will happily read each creative piece and give you feedback!
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
