Belonging to a community of creative writers promotes confidence and growth. This one-time event is usually listed once a month for interested writers during the Fall and Spring semesters. Poem must be school appropriate. If in doubt, writers may submit to me for approval beforehand. Learners may also attend the open mic as a spectator. Please message after enrolling if you are here as an audience member. ⭐️ Cameras must be in the on position for safety and trust purposes during class.⭐️ The rules governing this open mic session are standard: ⭐️ work may be on any topic in any style ⭐️ like any work done in any of my classes, must be Outschool appropriate ⭐️ work must be original and performed aloud ⭐️ no props of any kind permitted ⭐️ no recordings or music permitted ⭐️ no costumes permitted A random wheel will determine order of performing writers. The chat is open throughout class for commentary. At the end of the open mic, time permitting, writers may ask also questions or comment about classmates’ work.

This one-time class is open to current or past members of The Sisterhood: Creative Writing & Social Club.
