Learners will view short, guided videos that focus on the rich world of storytelling and mastering the art of crafting compelling narratives across various genres. They will explore diverse topics that describe the unique elements of each story, listen to a brief story, and then be encouraged to write their own!

What topics will you cover?
Throughout the course, learners will explore a wide range of storytelling genres. Each lesson will focus on a different type of story and a variety of literary devices allowing students to develop their skills across various narrative styles.

How is this class structured?
The class follows a structured format designed to engage learners in an immersive and interactive learning experience. Each lesson begins with a mini-lesson introducing the elements of the featured story genre. This is followed by a brief reading of a story exemplifying the genre. Finally, students will be encouraged to write and illustrate a story that follows the learned genre.
