Are you looking for a science supplement class, or a way to get your student more interested in learning? Are you looking for ways to encourage your child to create and build? Give your children a chance to learn Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math-based concepts through hands-on experiences with Kitoodle Creators! In Kitoodle class, Makers design, tinker, build, concoct, and problem solve as they work to create finished products with a purpose. While working on their products, Makers are activating the portion of their brain used to problem solve and analyze. This helps them to retain S.T.E.M. concepts as they are using multiple sensory inputs while they learn. This 14-week class is one hour per week. Makers will complete a total of seven, quality, finished products. Makers also have access to engaging media and original songs that relate to and review the S.T.E.M. concepts covered. Counting Around the Clock – Create a Fidget Clock The Biophilia Effect – Crafting a Moss Wall Viva Viscosity - Cloud Putty Gears in Motion – Gear Display Reuse, Recycle and Grow – Paper Seed Pods Completing the Circuit – Circuit Cards Stuffing, Stitching and Storytelling – Manufacturing a Plush Bear Tinkering with PVC Pipes – PVC Creations Portions of the project may require additional assistance from an older sibling or parent depending on the child's level of dexterity. Your child will build their confidence and make amazing projects in Kitoodle Creators!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Ms. Gigi has a bachelor’s degree in education and an AA and child development. She taught preschool and kindergarten classes for a number of years. This is where she honed her curriculum development and classroom management skills. She learned how to teach with a child-directed approach that involved on-the-fly thinking and she developed different ways to connect students’ interests to academic lessons.
Her love of gardening led her to become an outdoor curriculum specialist where she developed curriculum for multiple academies. She has since been a STEM teacher for multiple Kitoodle locations. Ms. Gigi is incredibly talented at developing innovative projects and breaking down the steps into bite-sized pieces for children. Even her students as young as age 3 successfully build projects and grasp the STEM concepts. Beloved by both students and parents, Ms. Gigi's class will get your student to love Making and STEM.
