Beginner - Advanced Level
This yearbook photography workshop will help students taking both posed and candid photos for their school yearbook or newspaper. In this one-time class, learners will practice some photography fundamentals including choosing a subject, photographing in tricky lighting & composition using any device available. This part of the class includes some tricks for getting better photos with phones. When possible, learners will practice using shutter speed settings on DSLR and mirrorless cameras. This course will focus more on whatever learners in the course photograph most for their school yearbooks.

Learning Needs
Our courses are designed to support learners with unique needs as Erika has a Master's in Special Education. Materials are presented verbally & on slides in class and learners go back and forth between instruction & actively photographing.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
