Creative Quick Story Writing: Write & Share Social Club!

This is a SOCIAL CLASS for learners who love writing and want to be able to interact with other learners who also love to write. This is NOT an instructional class, students will not be taught creative writing in this class. This class is meant to be a fun class where learners can express their creative ideas, encourage friendship with other learners who have similar interests, and enhance the learner's comfort with public speaking.

Each week a new story starter prompt will be given at the start of class time. Learners will then spend about 20-25 minutes of class time writing a creative story in response to the given prompt. An optional challenge will be introduced during the writing time that learners may choose to incorporate into their story. After writing their story, each learner will then read their story aloud to the class.

This ongoing class, is designed to be a social outlet where learners can connect with other learners, while encouraging their love of creative writing and giving them self confidence in speaking in front of a group.

*NOTE: As a social club, this class needs a minimum of 2 learners to be held. If less than 2 learners are enrolled, the teacher will contact the guardians 48 hours ahead of the first class session to either cancel/refund or postpone the first class meeting until the following week.

This is an ongoing class. Outschool charges your credit card every Sunday. If you would like to cancel your subscription, you will need to do so before Sunday so that you will not be charged for the week.
