Class Experience
There are so many ways to create images using light painting. In this class, students will learn the basics needed to create interesting photographs using light. We'll begin with a short slideshow presentation and will then do our hands-on photography activity. This class will cover: 1. Manual settings on smartphones 2. Light painting techniques 3. Editing using Snapseed For light painting, the smartphone camera MUST have manual settings. We will be working with long exposure and will...
1 file available upon enrollment- a camera (or tablet) with manual shutter speed settings Android phones should have a Pro camera setting, but Apple products will need an app. I like Slow Shutter ($1.99). - Snapseed app for editing (free) - finger lights, pen light, or any small light - a dark room
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
