This is a single class offering from a larger curriculum. This stand alone reoccurring summer time class has a single focus of Levitation Photography where the student will learn how to shoot, perform, and edit an eye captivating levitation portrait! Teaching style is dynamic, engaging and informative. I teach using presentation, then engagement questions, small exercises to build learning, group feedback, and larger assignments for complete comprehension and ability. Here are the details...
In this class students will: 1) Learn Digital Photography Skills • How to use a DSLR camera (including ISO, shutter and aperture) • Fundamentals of Photography Compositions • How to edit photos using Affinity Photo & Lightroom 2) Complete Creative Photography Projects • Levitation
Students will go out and photograph for their creative projects on their own time. They will also likely spend time editing the photos for the project in a creative flow time outside of class. Time spent outside of class is based on students own desire, interest and intrinsic motivation.
DSLR Camera (or digital if not owned) IPad or Computer - iPad preferred
Informal assessment via written report
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
