In this engaging class, students will learn how to capture stunning photographs of their beloved pets, whether they’re cats, dogs, or any other furry friends! The session will kick off with an introduction to the exciting types of pet images we can create. Students will master four essential components for great pet photography: environment, lighting, attention, and patience. As time permits, we’ll end with challenge rounds where students can attempt more complex shots of their pets. Participants will have the opportunity to take photos in various settings—indoors or outdoors—and share their favorites with the class. Extra hands can be helpful, but they’re not required. Most students share their images by holding their camera or phone up to the webcam. Please note the minimum enrollment for all of our one-time classes is 1 learner so our one-time classes are never cancelled. If your learner would prefer to have class with more students, request a transfer at least 24 hours before your class. Led by Erika Hatfield, this class promises fun and creativity, helping students build their confidence in pet photography!
