Class Experience

US Grade 9 - 12
Beginner - Advanced Level
In this fun and dynamic one-time session, students will learn the essentials of pet photography through a series of engaging challenges that will give them a taste of capturing their pets' unique personalities, environments, and interactions in creative ways. This one-time course has been redesigned (Nov 2024) and is now designed to introduce key concepts from our four-week Creative Pet Photography course, but with a unique twist, so learners can enjoy both classes without overlap.

In this engaging class, students will learn how to capture stunning photographs of their beloved pets, whether they’re cats, dogs, or any other furry friends!

The session will kick off with an introduction to setting the scene for success. Students will learn tricks to capture connection, use a prop, and get sharper action shots. As time permits, we’ll end with challenge rounds where students can attempt more complex photographs of their pets.

Participants will have the opportunity to take photos in various settings—indoors or outdoors—and share their favorites with the class. Extra hands can be helpful, but they’re not required. Most students share their images by holding their camera or phone up to the webcam.

Please note the minimum enrollment for all of our one-time classes is 1 learner so our one-time classes are never cancelled. If your learner would prefer to have class with more students, request a transfer at least 24 hours before your class.

This class promises fun and creativity, helping students build their confidence in pet photography!
