Description
Class Experience
~Creativity - create a craft or artwork, or work on your own craft you are already working on ~Social Skills - socialize with fellow LGBTQ+ and neurodiverse friends in a safe and encouraging environment. ~Active Listening - have a chance to listen to others and share your opinions
I am a non-binary educator and artist, and have been teaching for 17 years, including 3 years of online teaching online. Art is a great way for learners to express themselves, calm anxiety, apply a growth-mindset, and find a community.
Art projects/supplies will be listed in the classroom.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This group is a comfortable, safe, and supportive space for all of the LGBTQIA+ community and diverse learners. Allies are always welcome :-)
