In this 6-day camp, we'll combine nature and creativity! We'll use what we find in nature to create original art while we learn about a new nature topic each day.

US Grade 2 - 4
In this 6-day camp, students will combine their love of nature with their creative side. Each day we'll explore a different aspect of nature while we create a masterpiece made from objects found in nature! Students will also have the opportunity to share their knowledge about the topic while learning cool new facts. Schedule: Day 1: Birds! & Leafy Bird Crafts Day 2: Trees! & Wild Arm Trees Day 3: Soil! & Dirt Painting Day 4: Wild Cats! & Leafy Lions Day 5: Spiders & Insects! & Webbed...
Supplies ***If you can't find all the supplies, don't worry! You can still create using whatever you have on hand!*** **Day 1-Leafy Birds: Card stock or Construction paper Glue 10-15 leaves or grass blades of different sizes Small, thin twigs Pine needles (optional) Crayons, pens, markers ----------------------- **Day 2-Wild Arm Trees: Card stock, cardboard (cereal box), or other strong paper Pencil Paints & paintbrush or Markers and/or crayons Leaves, grass, flowers Small twigs Bark pieces Glue ----------------------- **Day 3- Dirt painting ½ cup of dirt, dry White glue Tempura paint or food dye ½ cup water Cup of water for brush rinsing Paintbrush Card stock or cardboard (cereal box) Paints can be pre-mixed 1 tbsp dirt 1 tbsp glue 1 tbsp paint Mix and add small amounts of water if needed to thin Or 1 tbsp dirt 1 tbsp glue 1 tbsp water 4-6 drops food dye Mix ---------------------- **Day 4-Leafy Lions Glue Scissors Markers/crayons Paper plate or sturdy paper/cardboard Brown, yellow, or red leaves, or pine needles ---------------------- **Day 5-Webbed Art Card stock or other heavy paper Ruler (or another straight edge) Pencil or pen Markers, crayons, or paint Large seeds Small pebbles Acorn caps Glue Optional: googly eyes, buttons, etc. ---------------------- **Day 6- Ocean Collage Blue, green, or black card stock or cardboard Crayons, markers, or paint (and paintbrush) Leaves Flower petals Grass Ferns Seeds Magazines or patterned paper Glue
