Description

Class Experience

This acting class is all about fun and using the imagination!  This class with begin with a quick warm up and then go straight into creative dramatics! Students will become lions, unicorns, dragons, and whatever else we can dream up in a fun game of "Magic Rocks".  Then, we will play a favorite of many of my past students called " Pirate Dance Party" which will then morph into another pirate themed movement game called " Captain on Board".  Finally, we will act out some stories.  I can't wait...

Students will learn to use their imaginations in order to become whatever they can dream up!  They will play an improvisational game, as well as several movement based imagination games.

I have a Master of Arts in Teaching Acting, and have been teaching at Oregon Children's Theatre for many years.  I love to see children excited to play and use their imaginations!

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
