This class offers young learners an interactive and fun introduction to subjects and topics through engaging activities tailored for K-6 students. With a focus on building foundational skills and encouraging curiosity.

Homework
1 hour per week. Students will receive personalized recommendations for practice activities based on their progress and areas where they need additional support.
Grading
Instead of letter grades, I will provide constructive feedback on each learner's participation and progress. I aim to encourage learning through fun, supportive engagement rather than formal grading. A certificate of completion can be provided if requested at the end of the course.

Beginner Level
In this interactive class, students will explore basic math (addition, subtraction, shapes) and English skills (vocabulary, pronunciation, sentence structure). Through games, discussions, and hands-on activities, learners will actively engage with each topic in a fun, energetic environment with lots of participation.
Learning Goals
Understand Basic Math Concepts: Students will be able to solve simple addition and subtraction problems, recognize shapes, and understand basic measurement concepts using hands-on activities and visual aids.
Improve Vocabulary and Pronunciation: Students will expand their vocabulary and practice pronunciation through fun, interactive games and rhymes, enhancing their ability to clearly speak and form simple sentences.

Lesson 1:
: Introduction to Addition and Subtraction
 Understanding basic addition and subtraction using visual aids, counting objects, and simple number sentences. Students will practice solving simple equations.

Building Vocabulary through Fun Word Games
 Expanding vocabulary with fun word-building games. We’ll explore simple English words, rhyming, and how to use new words in sentences.

Exploring Numbers with Counting Games
 Helping students understand numbers and counting in an engaging way. We’ll practice counting objects, using number songs, and play interactive counting games to reinforce number recognition and one-to-one correspondence.

 Helping students identify the main idea of short stories and passages. We’ll practice with simple texts and answer questions together.

This class is designed to support a variety of unique learning needs, including ADHD, Dyslexia, and ASD, by incorporating different teaching strategies to ensure every learner can thrive. I provide hands on activities and routines to help!

Pre-Requisites
No specific prerequisites, but learners should be comfortable with basic reading and writing for English and elementary math (addition, subtraction, multiplication). Prior experience with introductory English or math classes is helpful.
