Class Experience
This is an Ongoing Weekly Class, where Learners will work together to collaborate and pull ideas for the themed design of the week. Fashion Creatives, Costume Designers, Cosplayers and Anime Fashion lovers will join me for "out of the box" themed designs based on the weekly list! I suggest learners use either a Croquis that I've supplied, or their own Croquis, as a base template. Let your individual style show through, or follow along with my sketching, either way is fine! We will use ideas...
This class is taught in English.
After graduating from Fashion Institute of Technology, I worked in Womenswear on Fashion Avenue (7th Ave) for many years. The skills I gained from working in the industry were very different from college.... those are some of the skills I will be teaching here. Fashion Design has a lot of technical aspects that most students don't realize, it's not about just drawing beautiful clothing, it's about knowing why and how stitching and fabric textures flow and fold also. I'm confident your student will gain a ton of knowledge .
