Creative Drawing - Super Mario Alien Universe
In this one-time creative drawing class, Ms. Jes will teach how to draw an alien blooper, then encourage learners to add other Mario-themed elements to create a unique extra-terrestrial Super Mario art piece!

I will teach young artists how to identify shapes and lines in the Super Mario Bros character Blooper, and create a base drawing - Blooper as an alien! I guide the process step-by-step. After creating the main figure, everyone will use their imagination to add more elements to their picture. During this creative free-draw time, learners can simply color in the alien blooper, or add details and more characters. What could you add? Maybe planets, stars, asteroids, moons - or other characters, like an alien goomba or an astronaut Luigi! Each learner's creativity can shine with the open ended free-draw time. Students can use a black marker, or they can choose to use a pencil to start with. After drawing the figure, we will color them in, and students can use any coloring utensil they prefer! Crayons, colored pencils, markers, paint, pastels, the sky is the limit! While this is an art-based course, we want to also feel like a community, and share our love for Super Mario!! I can't wait to see what we end up making together.
