Class Experience

Join us for a fun and engaging class where you'll be given creative drawing prompts designed to get your brain moving and kick your imagination into gear. To start each class, we'll have a quick warm-up where students can share anything they would like such as an upcoming event, a drawing from previous weeks, a toy, or anything else on their mind. Then, it's time to draw! Using a slideshow format with pictures to spark ideas, a prompt will be given, and students will draw their interpretation from their imagination.
At the end of each prompt, students will have the chance to share their drawings with the class and describe what they drew, if they would like to. It's important to note that this class is not about directed drawing – each student will draw based solely on their own imagination and ideas. Get ready to unleash your creativity and have some fun!

Weekly Prompts:
11/4-11/10: Draw a newly discovered animal!
11/11-11/17: Design a unique way to get to space other than a rocket ship!
11/18-11/24: Draw what you would look like if you were a superhero.
11/25-12/1: *Scheduled week off*
12/2-12/8: Draw what it would look like to mix a food item and an animal together!

Mics will stay unmuted during our class time, unless there is distracting background noise, so students will be able to socialize with myself and peers during our drawing time.

Important Note Regarding Class Recordings:

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello, my name is Brianne. I am so excited to be teaching on the Outschool platform, and even more excited to meet your learner! I have a 120-hour TESOL certificate, which allows me to teach English as a secondary language. I also homeschool my own two children. Many of my classes are focused on strengthening social skills by learning to be patient, listening to others, taking turns, following directions, using manners, and being respectful all while having fun! I hope to see your learner soon!
