US Grade 9 - 12
Beginner - Advanced Level
In this class students will learn new techniques each week to improve their skills in digital photography as they complete creative projects. Each lesson will be focused on one creative technique or project idea. Improving composition & lighting will be emphasized in all lessons and many examples given. Students can use any kind of camera that they have available, however those with a DSLR camera will have more flexibility and options when doing assignments. This is a SELF PACED class - which means there are NO LIVE CLASSES. Instructional videos will be posted for your learner to watch, as well as optional classroom discussion. Students will be expected to also post photos of the work they have completed each week. The more your learner participates the more value they will get from this class! Please see the attached Syllabus for details on each Lesson. I want this to be a fun activity, & encourage my students to ask questions and share both their successes and struggles so we can all support each other & learn from one another. Supply List: * Students can use any kind of camera that they have available, however those with a DSLR camera will have more flexibility and options when doing assignments. * Please also bring a copy of your camera manual or find access to it online. This will be very helpful, because every camera model is slightly different when it comes to buttons & menus.
