In this lively Bingo class, you will need to come prepared. Prior to class, design and build a 25-piece Lego creation, your imagination is the only limit to your creativity! Show your creation to the class and then take it apart. As we play Bingo, you will rebuild your design. Test your memory to see if you will remember how to put it back together. You will need to problem solve if you can't remember and learn how to "think fast on your feet". We will also practice good...
The children will gain confidence in their Lego building techniques, engage with others, test their memory skills, practice public speaking to the group, and will show good sportsmanship.
I have a genuine love of Legos and building creations that are beyond the directions. My love for Lego building has been passed on to my sons and now our house is filled with displays of Lego creations. My husband, two teenage sons and I build Lego sets all year long, and it's a guarantee that Christmas and birthday gifts will include a new set for each of us . Our most recent additions are the Architecture and Technic Lego sets. My additions to the displays are Lego Friends. :)
Be prepared for class. Build your 25-piece Lego creation ahead of time and try to build something unique.
The learners need to come to class with a 25-piece Lego creation that they have made prior to class. They will show it to their friends and then take it apart. Now their memory must take over, will they be able to remember how to construct it? That's part of the fun! Other supplies: -- pennies, beans, or macaroni to mark the spaces on the gameboard -- gameboard printed before class (I will send you the gameboard the day before class.) ** This class is not affiliated with the Lego Company even though we love their product!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
