Description
Class Experience
The students will understand the importance of collaboration and how to build on another person's ideas. They will also understand how blocking an offer from another player can keep the scene from moving forward. Most of all, they'll get to work their imaginations in an open and creative atmosphere.
I have been an acting teacher for the last fifteen years and an actor and improviser for over 30 years. My improv group - the OTC Comedy Troupe has won awards from arts councils and my screenplays have been feature in several film festivals.
There is no homework.
There is no learner supply list.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We guide the students to work at the top of their intelligence and would not have them act in scene that might be upsetting to them. The idea is to be creative and have fun.
