Class Experience
Are you ready for creation station? ALLLLL ABOARD! In this class students will get to share the different recycled items they brought to class, discuss ideas, share ideas, and create something new out of a toilet paper roll. I taught Kindergarten for 5 years and currently teach Gifted and Talented Education. I love allowing students to use their imagination and foster their creativity. The goal of this class is for students to use their critical thinking and problem solving skills while growing confidence.
Please bring your own toilet paper roll, scissors, glue, and other random craft or recyclable items from home. You do not have to purchase anything for this lesson. Examples of craft items from home could be string, a straw(s), stickers, pipe cleaners, napkins, markers, extra paper, etc.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
There will be an informal assessment. Teacher will look for conversation skills, creativity, and critical thinking.
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
